The village sits over a dormant rift. That’s why the grass glows faintly at midnight. That’s why NPCs blink slower than normal.

That’s also why the “Where Is Homiezava” question pops up in every forum. People think it’s a glitch. It’s not.

You’ll miss it if you’re looking for a flag or a glowing marker.

Look for a small, unmarked clearing surrounded by cracked stone arches (half-buried,) moss-covered, leaning like they’re tired of holding up the sky.

That’s Homiezava.

The coordinates are X: 472, Y: -189.

Write them down. Type them in. Screenshot them.

Do whatever keeps you from circling the same three hills for twenty minutes.

Yes, the map shows it as a blank patch. That’s intentional. Not a bug.

A design choice (and a dumb one, honestly).

I get why they did it. To make discovery feel earned. But come on.

You’re not hunting Easter eggs. You’re trying to finish the questline before your coffee gets cold.

Does it matter that the ruins tilt slightly left? Yes. Because if they tilt right, you’re in the wrong hollow.

Pro tip: Open your world map, zoom all the way out, and look for the only place where two rivers almost meet but don’t. That gap? That’s your entrance.

How to Actually Get to Homiezava (No Map Glitches)

I tried this three times before it clicked.

That’s a dead end with wolves that respawn faster than you can reload. Go right. Always right.

You start at the Old Toll Gate. The one with the broken sign and the rusted lantern. Don’t go left toward the canyon.

Step one: follow the cracked cobblestone path until you hit the fork where the birch tree leans sideways. Take the moss-covered path, not the gravel one. The gravel path looks cleaner.

It’s lying to you.

Step two: you’ll see the rope bridge. It sways. It creaks.

And yes. It will snap if you sprint across. Walk.

Slow. Steady. If you hear snapping sounds halfway, stop and wait ten seconds.

The ropes reset. (I timed it.)

Step three: past the bridge, climb the stone stairs carved into the cliff. Halfway up, you’ll hit a wall covered in glowing lichen. Rub your torch on it (not) your sword (or) it won’t light up the handholds.

Step four: drop down into the hollow. Look for the iron bell half-buried in dirt. Ring it once.

Not twice. Ringing it twice wakes the Hollow Watchers. You don’t want that.

Prerequisites? You need the Copper Key from the Blacksmith’s side quest. No key = no entry gate.

Also, your stamina bar must be at least 60%. If it’s lower, rest at the campfire near the Toll Gate first.

Enemies? Hollow Watchers patrol the final stretch. They’re fast but blind in fog.

Wait for the mist roll-in (it) happens every 90 seconds. Then slip past.

Where Is Homiezava? Right there, behind the bell, inside the Homiezava Hotel.

Don’t trust the in-game map. It shows Homiezava two miles east. It’s not.

It’s here. Behind the bell.

I’ve watched people walk past it five times.

The door only opens if you ring the bell once, have the Copper Key in your inventory, and it’s between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. in-game time.

Yes. Really.

Pro tip: Sleep at the Toll Gate inn the night before. Set your in-game clock.

First Steps in Homiezava: Don’t Waste Time

I drop my bag and head straight to the fountain in the central square.

That’s the save point (touch) the rim, hear the chime, and you’re locked in.

Don’t wander. Go left, past the bakery with the blue awning. The old woman there—Lira (is) your first real talk.

She hands out the keycard. No quest log pops up. You just know.

There’s a loose brick behind the post office mailbox. Pull it. Grab the copper coin inside.

It opens the cellar door later. Most people miss it.
